So I haven't written a good blog in several years. I found it pretty fun back when I did it, but due to forces out of my control I ended up going away from sharing my thoughts with everyone. I'm back and I guess the main purpose of this is to keep track of my food expirement over the next few weeks.
The Expirement
Starting in a couple of weeks I'm going to only eat foods that I have created from raw ingredients. What this means is I can only use basic stuff to make meals, i.e. fresh veggies, raw meats, spices, milk, eggs, butter, and probably gonna allow bullion too. I'm also going to use already processed flours/cornmeal, I don't have a grinding stone and these things were commercially avaliable before the processed food craze. I want to take a little bit of time to research recipies so I can be a little more effiecent. I plan to post all my meals and recipies up here and keep track of my thoughs during this time.
What started my thinking about this was my trip to the grocery store last night. I was standing behind a woman who had purchased nothing but processed foods. They where almost all low fat, low calorie, or weight watchers. She had no raw veggies, no lean unprocessed meats, nothing that seemed like a better way to weight loss. I'm not so concerned with the weight loss aspect of this (although I have begun running and lifting again) as I am interested in how difficult it will be and will I be religated to eating raw veggies out of lazainess.
I know I don't harder things in my life, but I think this will be a fun challenge. I'm going to do a bit more planning, I really don't want to miss dinner with friends or family(if they invite), but maybe I should spin it and cook for them.
Anyway back to work,
Lee
